Make slides people swipe
- Put a hook on the first slide: a number, a mistake to avoid or a clear result.
- Keep one point on each slide, in a few words.
- Use photos you have the right to post: your own, or ones whose licence allows it.
- End with one clear next step, such as save, follow or a question.

Questions
What size should an Instagram carousel be?
1080 x 1350 pixels (4:5) is the safe default: the Instagram app and scheduling tools both accept it. Every slide should be the same size, because the first slide sets the shape of the carousel.
Can I use these slides on LinkedIn or TikTok?
The 4:5 slides upload to most networks that take images. For TikTok, use the TikTok slideshow maker instead, so the slides fill the 9:16 screen.
Is it free, and is there a watermark?
It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark. The slides are yours.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Your photos open in this browser tab, the slides are drawn here, and closing the tab clears them. Nothing is sent to Wavegrain.
Why at most 10 slides?
Most useful carousels are shorter than that, and Wavegrain's app makes 3 to 10 slides too. Make a second set if you need more.
How is this different from Wavegrain?
Wavegrain's app is the AI version: from a topic it writes the script, places your photos or makes AI images, and lays out every slide in an editor you can change.
