# Use Wavegrain from Zapier

> Call Wavegrain tools from a Zap with Zapier's MCP Client app, Streamable HTTP and a bearer token.

Zapier's MCP Client app (beta) calls a remote MCP server.
Its "Run Tool" action runs one tool, and "Run Read-Only Tool" runs a tool that changes nothing.

1. Make an access key in Wavegrain Settings with only the permissions the Zap needs.
2. In Zapier, add an MCP Client step and create a connection:
   - Server URL: `https://wavegrain.com/api/mcp`
   - Transport: Streamable HTTP
   - OAuth: No
   - Bearer Token: the access key
3. Choose "Run Tool", pick `list_slideshows`, and test the step.

We have not tested Zapier against Wavegrain yet.
Tell us at support@wavegrain.com if a step differs or fails.

A Zap must never approve or post.
It makes drafts and Calendar slots; you approve them in Wavegrain.
